We want your college student to be successful throughout their college career. They need a good foundation and support to gain this success. At Washington Place, we want to help support their productivity with flexible payment options, a professional staff, 24-hour maintenance, security provisions, and a long list of amenities. We are open Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm and most Saturdays from 11am to 3pm. Our offices close on holidays. Our office is located at 250 Washington Street, Platteville, WI 53818.


We offer 12-month leases beginning August 16 at noon. You can view a sample lease agreement HERE. Unfortunately we do now allow semester or academic leases. However, our residents may find a subletter for the time they will not be living in the apartment. For more information on subletting click HERE.


For parents who choose to manage rent payments, we make paying bills as convenient as possible, accepting the following methods:

  • Direct: Stop by our OFFICE to pay with check or money order.

  • Mail: Mail a check or money order via USPS or your mail carrier of choice.

  • Online: Quickly and securely pay rent from our RESIDENT PORTAL. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards as well as electronic checks. There is a small convenience charge for this service.


We do not send invoices. Rent is due on the first day of every month, regardless of the day the first lands on. If paying directly or mailing your payment, please make checks payable to "Washington Place" and deliver to 250 Washington Street, Platteville, WI 53818. Please remember that we only take check or money order. Please list your unit number in the memo section to ensure proper credit to your account.

We create a secure environment for your child to live so they can focus on what matters and you can have peace of mind. 


Washington Place has security cameras throughout the common areas and in some areas outside of the buildings. The main entryway doors to both buildings are open Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Outside of those hours, the doors lock. Any other exterior door to the building is always locked. Our residents receive a fob when they move in that allows them to enter when those doors are locked.
